Quebec filmmaker Xavier Dolan has unveiled the poster for his new film, Matthias & Maximewhich will be presented in official competition at the Cannes Film Festival in two weeks' time.
The film will be distributed by MK2/Diaphana in France and by Les Films Séville in Quebec.
Matthias & Maximestarring Gabriel D'Almeida Freitas, Pier-Luc Funk, Samuel Gauthier, Antoine Pilon and Adib Alkhalidey, explores the ambiguous relationships within a group of friends.
Jean-Michel Blais composed the film's score. "Proud and honored to have - for (my) first film - participated in another masterpiece by the great #XavierDolan", wrote the composer on Twitter this morning.
